Cons: Pool hours need expanded as they are not convenient. Parking lot is a bit cramped and not recommended for a vehicle with a trailer. There is a truck parking location 1 block away if needed.
The hotel is beautiful and very clean, but the customer service and laundry facilities leave something to be desired.
New hotel, poor construction and the elevator breaks often. Rooms ac didn't work and they could not move me to another room, they did not comp my room. If there was a different hotel that was decent I would stay in it instead.
Quiet room. Shower is about 6'7" tall
I had one load of laundry to do on my stay here. I did not know there was guest laundry on all floors, as it was not marked. I started laundry on the first floor and my soap packet got stuck between the washer door and the drum of the washer, causing the washer to run but no soap to be in the wash. The employees didn't know if they had a key to stop the washer and just shrugged off the problem, even when I explained I'd have to stay up an extra 30 minutes and pay an extra $2 to rewash my clothes. After rewashing my clothes, i went back to the desk and asked for a refund. The clerk didn't seem to know how to handle the situation and called his manager, which was fine. She approved the refund but the clerk could not find a key to the register.
Fast forward to 2:40 in the morning. My clothes have been in the dryer twice and are no dryer than when I first put them in, even though the dryer is half full and the clothes have been "dried" on high heat. The clerk suggested trying a different dryer, but mentioned nothing about refunding the additional money spent on drying time. I lugged my clothes to the second floor. Let's hope I have better luck here.
Employees need to know how to handle situations, whether it's a dirty room (which we did not have this problem, rooms were great) or a malfunctioning washer and dryer.
